Sierra Garage - Web Design, Digital Marketing, and Printed Materials
We recently had the pleasure of working with Ivan at Sierra Garage in Grays, Essex to rebrand his business, create their first website, revamp his social media, and design and print some new promotional materials.

It All Begins With Branding
When we started working with Sierra Garage, they already had a brand identity.
They had their colours and used a font similar to the Ford Sierra badge in their logo.
We wanted to keep the branding theme but decided to revamp it into a more flat design that would translate well to social media, web, and printed materials.
We decided with the owner that a simpler design on the turbo would help us achieve the desired results and the turbo on its own is now the profile picture on all social media channels.
The final branding package consisted of a new logo, defined colours, and a complementary font used on the website and printed materials that we'll discuss later.

Creating the Website
Sierra Garage wanted a big website to show off all the services they offer.
We created the site with 12 service pages, all easily accessible from the top menu, and a services section shown on every page.
Having separate pages for each service allowed us to fully SEO each one for service-specific keywords that will help them rank on Google for all their services.
As the customer had lots of good reviews across various platforms, we decided to add a testimonials page and testimonials section to all pages that had a short extract of 4 keyword-rich testimonials that linked to blog posts showing the original review.
The website is fully responsive and displays beautifully on desktop, tablet, and mobile devices.

Website Content Creation
The content on the website was created based on a number of chats with the owner.
As primarily a service garage, Sierra Garage wanted to educate potential customers on the benefits of regular servicing. We created a full page explaining what is done during a service and why it's important to have them done regularly.
We also heavily promoted their "checkup" service that identifies small issues before they become big problems by including a short description and link to the full page on every page.
As summer was approaching at the time of launching, we decided to make the first marketing campaign a promotion of their air-con regassing service.
Find out more about our first marketing campaign below...

Our First Marketing Campaign
The Sierra Garage website launched in May, so summer was not far off... Time to sell some air-con gas!
Sierra Garage offers both R134A and R1234YF regassing services and we wanted to make sure they got as much business as possible throughout the summer.
We started by creating a full page explaining why air-con needs regassing, the regassing process, and offering an additional decontamination service.
We followed this up with an blog post that explained 3 signs that your air-con needs regassing.
We then used Facebook Ads to promote that post to the local area and got our client a few extra bookings just days after launching the website.

Printed Promotional Materials
To help promote the business offline, we created a few printed promotional materials.
The first thing customers see when they arrive at the Sierra Garage counter is a poster that allows you to quickly visit the website and find the garage on social media using QR codes.
It also features a QR code that allows happy customers to leave a Google review with one click of a button.
To help happy customers spread the word, we also created appointment cards that list all the garage's services and features the garage phone number, website and QR code.
Finally, we designed key fobs that can be added to customer's keys before they are handed back. An easy way for their customers to recommend the garage to their family and friends.

What the Client Thought
Ivan, co-owner of Sierra Garage was our main contact throughout the project and was very happy with the final result.
Ivan was especially impressed with the website. He complimented the copy used to describe the services, the simple layout that made it easy to navigate, and the overall aesthetic of the website.
He was also happy with the way the printed materials, website and social media featured consistent branding, despite initially being slightly resistant to changing the logo.
We here at Garage Beast wish Ivan and the boys at Sierra Garage all the best for the future and we're already planning our next marketing campaign to further promote the vehicle servicing they offer as well as some banners to direct people from the main road.
